Is my photo library uploaded anywhere?

No. Every scan runs on your iPhone. Photos, thumbnails, and filenames never leave your device, and there are no accounts.

What does the free tier include?

One free full scan with a complete preview of everything Private Sweep found. The one-time unlock enables cleanup actions and unlimited repeat scans — no subscription.

I deleted something by mistake. Can I get it back?

Yes. Every deletion goes through Apple's Photos confirmation and lands in Recently Deleted, where items can be recovered for 30 days (Photos app → Albums → Recently Deleted).

Why does a first deep scan take a while?

The first scan analyzes every photo on-device to find duplicates and blurry shots. Later scans reuse that work and only process new or changed photos, so they finish much faster.

How do I restore my purchase on a new phone?

Install Private Sweep, open Settings inside the app, and tap Restore Purchases while signed into the same App Store account.

How do I remove the app's data?

Deleting the app removes all locally stored scan data. You can also revoke Photos access any time in iOS Settings without deleting the app.
